Ward and Lipari Earn All-America Honors
Both athletes competed for Villanova at NCAA Championships last weekend

NEW ORLEANS--Based on results from last weekend's NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships senior
Shericka Ward (Leesburg, Fla.) and sophomore
Emily Lipari (Greenvale, N.Y.) have both earned All-America honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), as announced on Monday afternoon. Ward is a first team selection and Lipari is a second team honoree.
At the national championships meet over the weekend Ward finished seventh in the finals of the 60 meter hurdles, scoring two team points for Villanova and putting a stamp on a tremendous indoor season. She ran a personal best time of 8.16 in the preliminaries of the 60 meter hurdles on Friday night and then had a time of 8.151 in the finals on Saturday night.
